PERMIT APPLICATION GUIDELINES

Please note that these guidelines relate to LIMPOPO Province only.  Should any other province’s information be required, please contact us for assistance.  Also, due to frequent changes made to application forms and regulations by Department of Economic Development and Tourism, we do not guarantee the accuracy of the information supplied.  However, Hunt Services will make every effort to keep information as current as possible.

1.   TOPS permit application forms are to be used for all TOPS listed species as per the downloadable TOPS/CITES list. (This list ONLY reflects frequently hunted species that require permits.)

 

2.  The 'Hunting Permit Application' is to be used for African Civet, African Wildcat and Caracal.

 

3.  The following documentation should accompany ALL hunting permit applications:  Copy of the hunting client's passport, copy of the Professional Hunter's permit, copy of the Hunting Outfitter's permit and a copy of the P3-Exemption permit.

 

4.  The following documentation should accompany Professional Hunter's permit application:  Copy of ID, 3 (three) copies of completed hunts as per hunt registers (for renewals), proof of completing PH course (new application) and a copy of current PH permit (renewal).

 

5.   'Hunt Game in Open Season' is applicable to Baboon, Vervet Monkey and Birds, as well as other species listed on the application form IF these species are not on the P3-Exemption Permit of the property that will be hunted on.
